The Tamrac 5617 Ultra Pro 17 Bag (Black) is designed to carry professional photo gear such as, 2 digital SLR camera bodies with lenses up to 9.0"" attached, 3-4 additional lenses, flashes, accessories and up to 15.4"" screen laptop computer. The briefcase-style camera bag holds the gear vertically to present a slimmer profile. The bag is made from 600 denier PolyTek exterior with a foam-padded interior and a rigid plastic platform in the bottom that provides added shock protection. There is a Total Coverage Top that combines the security of a zipper with the convenience of quick-release buckles and fast-access hook and loop closures. The top also features a Speed Pocket for fast access to accessories and personal items. The bag also has 2 ZipDrop front pockets that feature Windowpane-Mesh and paraphernalia pockets to visibly organize accessories. It also features the Memory & Battery Management System that uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that are used up.
The 5617 Ultra Pro 17 has straps on the front that allows a tripod or mono pod to be attached. There is a removable M.A.S. Rain Cover included to protect the camera gear in extreme weather. When not needed, it can be removed and replaced with another M.A.S. (Modular Accessory System) accessory, like a water bottle or a lens case. It is S.A.S. (Strap Accessory System) compatible, which is a system that has attachment slots on the shoulder strap to allow photographers to personalize and customize their carrying systems. The bag is carried by an EasyGrip handle with a torsion bar stabilizer strut in the top that helps distribute the weight of the equipment or a removable, adjustable, heavily padded BioCurve shoulder strap. There is also a Piggy-Back Pocket that zips open to allow the bag to be slipped over the handle of rolling luggage.
